Musician volunteers enrich the lives of hospice patients in their area by sharing their talents during regular visits. In addition to providing music, volunteers provide much-needed socialization and one-on-one support. Service hours are extremely flexible and scheduled according to your availability and location. Volunteer hours are flexible and opportunities are scheduled according to personality/needs of patient and volunteer, location and availability.
Requirements: Must be 18 years or older; agree to a background/reference check; and attend an orientation to learn more about the philosophy of hospice and our company, the role of the volunteer and communicating with hospice patients and their families.. Travel is required for this volunteer opportunity, so volunteers must have some form of reliable transportation.
