Volunteers are the HEART of Heartland Hospice!
Through our Veterans Companion Program, veterans can support other veterans who are terminally ill. We recognize that veterans share a special bond and will match you with a veteran who needs your support. Heartland Hospice Volunteers bring the gift of friendship to terminally ill patients. Volunteers offer companionship, lend an ear, share experiences & stories, hold a hand, give a needed hug, and offer words of comfort. If you've got a little extra time to give, a big heart and want to hear someone's life story, call or email Heartland Volunteer Coordinator Amy today to learn more about our unique volunteer opportunities: 800-236-1989; firstname.lastname@example.org. We're waiting to hear from you!
