The Snohomish Community Food Bank offers a program for High School Students to fulfill their community service obligations. On Saturdays from 10:00am to 2:00pm, a crew of student workers and 2 supervisors sort and organize food, stock shelves, perform light cleaning duties and complete other random tasks.
To sign up, e-mail scfbstudents@gmail.com. Please include your name, phone number, and school, along with your preferred upcoming Saturday(s) you wish to participate. Scheduled appointments will be confirmed by reply email unless a phone call is requested. Please allow 48 hours to receive the confirmation of your appointment.
If you are a high school student who needs to complete your community service requirement, we hope you will join us in our fight against hunger in our community!

Description
The Snohomish Community Food Bank is a non-profit organization concerned for the welfare of people within the community. The Food Bank serves residents living within the Snohomish School District boundaries and is supported solely through donations and volunteers. Since 1985, we have provided groceries and social services on a weekly basis.
We operate Monday through Saturday in preparation for serving up to 300 families each week. We rely on approximately 140 volunteers to pick up, organize and sort, record, plan and distribute the food and services we provide.
