In the fall, Habitat Metro Denver will receive donations from a large retail convention which will be sold at our five Habitat ReStores. We expect to generate $400,000 in Habitat ReStore sales to help fund our homeownership and home repair programs.
Volunteers are needed to palletize and shrink wrap all of the materials. Demonstrations, training and a safety orientation will be provided at the beginning of each shift. This volunteer experience is fun but inherently chaotic. Volunteers should have a sense of humor, flexibility and patience, and be prepared to multi-task!
Join us for a day and help make the dream of homeownership a reality for hardworking families who need a decent, affordable place to call home. Individuals and groups are welcome to participate!
Volunteers must be 18 or older.
