Seeking volunteers to teach basic cooking skills or nutrition knowledge to others through Dare to Care's Cooking Matters Program. Help those in your community learn how to plan, shop, and prepare healthy, delicious meals!
Culinary and nutrition volunteers will co-teach a 6 week course. Classes are hosted Tuesdays-Thursdays at varying times and locations throughout Kentuckiana. All curricula, nutrition materials, kitchen supplies and groceries provided. Recommended culinary and nutrition background, but Dare to Care will train those that are eager to learn and have a desire to teach others!
Would be a perfect volunteer option for college students and up!
Check out our blog for more information and fun tips, recipes, and interviews with our volunteers!
