Hedonisia EcoFeminism is a portfolio of web projects on eco-feminism, sex positivity, free speech, race, culture, and reproduction rights from an activist entrepreneur perspective.

All the books are in draft form. They are evolving and in need of editing, updates, and rewrites before publication.

We seek volunteers to proofread the essays in our collection. Volunteers can choose the essay subjects they like. That way, they are working on subjects that interest them:

Google Commenter. Hedo Feminista manuscripts are all Google Docs. As an editor, you can use the Commenter feature to suggest edits, add research, or make rewrites.

Trigger Warning: Many of the ideas in these books are politically incorrect. If you have strong sensitivities about a written discussion of stereotypes, criticism, humor, and ignorance, do NOT choose to work on this project. We are looking for volunteers who support free and open discussion about controversial issues that can often feel divisive in America and throughout the world.

Book Projects:
Volunteers can choose to work on any of these book projects:
  • Social Identity Play: Free Speech, Sex, Culture & Humor in a Sensitive World
  • Cougars for World Peace: Fun Feminism that Benefits the Planet
  • Warrior WoMan: A Path to Peace & Pleasure for the Planet
Once you pick a book that resonates with you, let us know in your application and we will send you free access to the manuscript with editing instructions.

Reading & Editing.
These books are all at various stages of completion. Let us know when you apply, which one you'd like to work on as a Volunteer Proofreader and Editor.

About Hedonisia EcoFeminist Community

6404 SE Division St, Portland, OR 97206, US

Mission Statement

Hedonisia EcoFeminist Community: Our community is based on the principle of 'pleasurable activism', we try to do our bit to 'save the world' but we also try to enjoy ourselves at the same time. It is the reason we call our community 'Hedonisia'! We have fun in paradise but are not blind to the world's problems. We manage and work on our portfolio of Activist, EcoFeminist and EcoSex projects. You can see the Hedonisia Web Portfolio at:

Hedonisia Hawaii EcoFeminist Community was started in 2004 in the Hawaiian rainforest. Our community was based on ecofeminism and ecotourism as our social and economic foundations.

We are idealist but also pragmatic. Through our philosophy of activist and feminist enterprise, we seek business solutions to various problems in the world.

Though our community is small, the projects we work on have a global reach. One of our feminist web projects provides women around the world with information on reproductive choice. It has been accessed by over one million women over the past decade and, as reported by women themselves, saved many lives by giving them access to reproductive choice.

In 2018 the Hedonisia Hawaii Community was destroyed by lava flow from the Kilauea Volcanic eruption. We temporarily relocated to Portland OR where we continue work on our web projects.

We have a crowdfund campaign to rebuild our community in Hawaii: GoFundMe/SaveHedonisia

We are preparing to return. See for more details.

We welcome you to be part of our Community Rebirth!
