Walk a Dog in Brown County!

The Brown County Humane Society is seeking volunteers to walk dogs in the mornings or afternoons. Enjoy our six acre lot, complete with barn, play area, and creek. Get your exercise in while giving our dogs a chance to stretch their legs.

Volunteers are asked to commit to at least one morning or afternoon every other week and usually spend about 2 hours walking the dogs.

Every volunteer receives training from a senior/experienced dog walker and may work in pairs for a while. It's a great chance to meet other volunteers and get involved, or an opportunity to spend some time with just a dog and your thoughts.

The best thing'll be helping to keep the dogs healthy, happy, and ready for their new family. OUR VOLUNTEERS SAVE LIVES!
