ORGANIZATION: ACCESS-The Auxiliary of Good Samaritan Hospital

Join an outstanding team of certified car seat technicians who volunteer for ACCESS, a program of the Auxiliary of Good Samaritan Hospital. Certified Car Seat Technicians teach families how to properly use and install their child's car seat. 4 out of 5 child safety seats are being used incorrectly and you can help! ACCESS will reimburse volunteer for any expenses related to completing the car seat safety training. If you are already a certified car seat technician, you are ready to join the team! Volunteer technicians will staff community-wide car seat fitting stations that take place on the first and third Tuesdays of each month from 8:00am to 12:00pm at Good Samaritan Hospital. Technicians may also assist families being discharged from the hospital. In 2019, our volunteer technicians installed 456 car seats! This program makes a difference and protects our most precious resource- our children!
