Did you know that transportation challenges can make it difficult for people to receive needed healthcare? This is especially true for seniors and people living with disabilities. You can be part of the solution to this challenge! Elder Services, Inc. is looking for RSVP volunteers in Johnson County to drive people to and from their medical appointments. RSVP is one of the largest volunteer networks in the nation for people 55 and over. This is a great volunteer opportunity for individuals who are seeking a flexible volunteer opportunity during which they are able to form one-on-one relationships with the people they serve.

Elder Services, Inc. provides programs, services, and resources to assist persons age 60 and over in Johnson county and east central Iowa to stay active, independent, and safe in their homes.
Description
Elder Services, Inc is the provider of Meals on Wheels and Senior Dining to Iowa City, Coralville and North Liberty. As well as rural deliveries to Johson, Iowa, Cedar and Washington counties in Iowa to ensure those that are 60 years and over can remain safe, active and independent.
Our nutrition program provides upwards of 325 hot meals each day with roughly 150 of them brought to their homes with help of volunteers like you!
