Mission Statement

"Chesapeake Feline Association is an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3), no-kill feline rescue organization, committed to creating a better world for cats and kittens, by providing feline population control services in the Cecil County area, through promotion of spay/neuter and vaccination of all cats and by providing shelter services and adoption/placement resources".

Description

Cats and kittens, for lack of funds, are typically overlooked by most organizations. CFA has, since its inception in 2009, been singularly committed to creating a better world for them. The number of homeless cats and kittens that die each year is staggering. Their suffering is unimaginable. Did you know that over-population is the #1 cause of death for a cat and kitten? Some of the many programs we have developed to help save the lives of so many free roaming and abandoned cats and kittens include neo-natal kitten care, kitten foster care, shelter management, socializing, adoptions, education, infirmary and hospice care. Our commitment to these unfortunate and easily disposed of felines is unwavering. Why not consider becoming a volunteer, or a Guardian Angel, and help to save the life of an abandoned and easily disposed of cat or kitten.
