The Family Crisis Center of Prince George's County is looking for a few committed Board members to enhance programs and services for battered women and their children. The FCC provides the only 24 hour safe passage shelter for abused women in the county. Please consider volunteering your time on the Board of Directors, at our administrative office, or in supporting a fundraising effort. We are actively looking for Board members with experience in fundraising, public/media relations and grant writing.

Mission Statement
The purpose of the Family Crisis Center of Prince George's County, Inc., is to: (1) eliminate domestic violence by educating individuals and the community at large about domestic violence and collaborating with individuals and other organizations, as well as local, state, and federal agencies to end abuse; (2) to provide comprehensive services to families who have experienced domestic violence by providing a 24 hour safe house for abused women, men and their children; and (3) to reduce violence by intervening with abusers by providing therapeutic services to men and women who abuse.
Description
The Family Crisis Center of Prince George's County, Inc., is a non-profit, that provides a safe house for battered women and their children in Prince George's County, Maryland. The organization also provides therapeutic support services for women and men and court mandated services for abusers.
