Hedonisia EcoFeminist Community
Social Entrepreneur EcoFeminism

We manage a portfolio of ecofeminist projects for which we need illustrations, animations, or graphics.
Progressive or libertarian graphic designers, artists, or animators are welcome to volunteer on our various projects.

Please Note: You may be working with art and sex-positive, feminist, or pro-choice subject matter.

When an artist has an interest in the project they are working on they tend to enjoy their volunteer experience more. With this in mind, please choose the project you'd like to work on and let us know in your application:

  1. Sensual Natural Birth Control Calendar. Need illustrations for the Calendar.

  2. - Illustrations needed for Hedo Feminista essays on gender equality, sex, and society.

  3. Social Identity Play: Free speech communication workshops for diverse workplaces and social settings. (Need book cover)

  4. - Need illustrations and graphics for the website and upcoming mobile app and book.

  5. Cougars for World Peace - Need illustration for the book cover.

We invite you to visit the sites and see which page(s) you’d like to illustrate and then we can discuss the projects in further detail.

  • Graphic Design: if you have graphic design, painting, or drawing skills: Graphic design for the site including images and web design. Photoshop experience is a plus!
  • Hand Drawing or Painting: If you don’t have graphic arts experience you can still contribute with old-fashioned painting and drawing skills to create graphics for some of the methods which you can then scan and send to us.

Virtual Volunteer Benefits:

  1. You can be listed as a Contributor on our ebook and websites.
  2. We give a Certificate of Appreciation that you can use as a work reference after completing any project.
  3. You gain complimentary access to the book or member projects you choose to work on.

About Hedonisia EcoFeminist Community

6404 SE Division St, Portland, OR 97206, US

Mission Statement

Hedonisia EcoFeminist Community: Our community is based on the principle of 'pleasurable activism', we try to do our bit to 'save the world' but we also try to enjoy ourselves at the same time. It is the reason we call our community 'Hedonisia'! We have fun in paradise but are not blind to the world's problems. We manage and work on our portfolio of Activist, EcoFeminist and EcoSex projects. You can see the Hedonisia Web Portfolio at:

Hedonisia Hawaii EcoFeminist Community was started in 2004 in the Hawaiian rainforest. Our community was based on ecofeminism and ecotourism as our social and economic foundations.

We are idealist but also pragmatic. Through our philosophy of activist and feminist enterprise, we seek business solutions to various problems in the world.

Though our community is small, the projects we work on have a global reach. One of our feminist web projects provides women around the world with information on reproductive choice. It has been accessed by over one million women over the past decade and, as reported by women themselves, saved many lives by giving them access to reproductive choice.

In 2018 the Hedonisia Hawaii Community was destroyed by lava flow from the Kilauea Volcanic eruption. We temporarily relocated to Portland OR where we continue work on our web projects.

We have a crowdfund campaign to rebuild our community in Hawaii: GoFundMe/SaveHedonisia

We are preparing to return. See for more details.

We welcome you to be part of our Community Rebirth!
