We are looking for Patient Companionship Volunteers at Kindred Hospice to visit patients on hospice residing at South County area Nursing Homes.
During these visits volunteers may read to patients, write letters for them, play music, games, share conversation and hobbies or simply hold their hand so they are not alone. Just be with the patient. Add to the quality of care as a patient ends their life journey.
Comprehensive training and orientation for hospice volunteering is provided. If you are interested in this opportunity, please contact Corrie Johnson, Manager of Volunteer Services at 314-275-6100 or Corinne.Johnson@gentiva.com . We look forward to hearing from you!
