Every Sunday Breakthrough Ministries reaches out to the homeless in Minneapolis and Phillips Community. We offer a free meal for the homeless as well as a Church Service each and every Sunday evening. Volunteers are needed each Sunday to prepare and serve food for our guests. We estimate serving about 50-75 each Sunday. There are opportunities for small groups or families to come together, prepare the meal at home, and bring it to our church building to serve. We also are in need of those who want to spend time visiting with, and praying for, those in attendance. This is great ministry opportunity for small groups! We've had: boy scout troups, school sports teams, offices, families, women's small groups, neighborhoods, and more join together to serve. It's an amazing time to get together to help others! For groups who would like to minister on the streets, we are happy to offer training and outreach by appointment.
