Wistariahurst Museum , an example of elegance and fine architecture since 1874 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, is seeking volunteers to assist in the Museum in: Gift Shop Sales and Marketing.
Gift Shop Assistant: Volunteer must be able to learn and operate cash register, interact with visiting patrons. Retail experience is preferred. Applicants must be able to work Saturday and Sunday afternoons and other times for special events.
Marketing : Hands on experience in getting the word out. Design, write and create flyers, brochures, mailers and press releases on museum events and programs, as well as distribution of event materials. Computer literacy and enthusiasm are preferred.
