You don’t have to know a thing about construction to help build a Habitat Home! All you need is enthusiasm and willingness to learn. We provide the tools, training, and encouragement and have projects for all skill levels and interests! Our team is working year-round Wednesdays through Saturdays from 8:30am - 3:30pm. Construction volunteers must be at least 16 years of age. Currently, we are seeking enthusiastic individuals to help us on our construction site on Wednesdays!
Construction Tasks:(Projects vary from day to day)
- Rehab Demolition
- Site & Lot Maintenance
- Home Repairs
- General Construction
We are glad to offer teenagers the Habitat experience, however all youth volunteers must be at least 16 years old with signed parent permission. NO ONE under the age of 16 will be allowed on the work site due to Pennsylvania state labor laws. One adult leader must accompany every five youth ages 16 and 17. In addition those 16 and 17 years old are also subject to strict (task) labor limitations imposed by federal and state governments.

Description
We are an interfaith grass roots housing ministry with the goal of eliminating poverty housing. Unwilling to accept the fact that thousands of families live without adequate shelter, Habitat for Humanity challenges and invites individuals, religious organizations, companies, foundations, and other organizations to join in partnership with people who are living in inadequate housing to improve their living conditions.
