Friends of the Edenvale Library raises funds to support library programs, through the sale of donated books; most for 50 cents - $1. This all volunteer group holds maintains a "Book Nook" sale area in the library & holds quarterly book sales on the 4th Saturday of January, April, July, & October.
Volunteers sort books donations into categories, stock & refresh the Book Nook, and help make the quarterly book sales successful. Training/mentoring is provided to help volunteers get familiar with sorting and other tasks. A minimum of 4 hours a month would be appreciated, and there is no maximum.
We seek Adults & Seniors to enjoy spreading their love of reading, through access to affordable books.
