MAM is looking for friendly and engaging volunteers to teach a Summer 2018 ESLclass to eager and dedicated adults! Teaching experience of any kind is preferred but not required. You do not have to be bilingual to teach the class and must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
Classes begin the week of June 18th and run through the week of July 30th (7 weeks). Classes are held on either a Monday/Wednesday or a Tuesday/Thursday and are held in the morning (9-11:30am), the afternoon (12:30-3pm) or the evening (6:30-9pm). You must be able to commit to teaching the entire 7 weeks.
Classes are held at either our location or at a church which is approximately 2 miles west of our location. Support, materials and training are provided by MAM ESL Staff. As an ESL volunteer, you will truly make a difference in the lives of others!
If you would like to help or have further questions, please contact Pam Shirk at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 713-574-7540. Thank you!
