MAM is looking for friendly and engaging volunteers to teach our Summer 2017 ESL classes to eager and dedicated adults! Teaching experience of any kind is preferred but not required. You do not have to be bilingual to teach the class and must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
Classes begin the week of June 5th and run through the week of July 31st. Classes are held on either a Monday & Wednesday or a Tuesday & Thursday. We'd prefer that you teach both classes but we are open to you teaching one of the two classes per week.
Current openings include an afternoon class (12:30-3pm) on a Tuesday/Thursday or an evening class (6-8:30 or 6:30-9pm) on a Tuesday/Thursday or a Monday/Wednesday. Classes are held at our location or at a location which is approximately 2 miles from our location.
Support, materials and training are provided by MAM ESL Staff. As an ESL volunteer, you will truly make a difference in the lives of others!
If you would like to help or have further questions, please contact Pam Shirk at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 713-574-7540. Thank you!
