Volunteer reception/administrative support person, part-time for University of Washington Neurological Vocational Services at the Harborview Medical Center. Make a difference for clients having a neurological disability and wanting to work. Seeking an individual with good client service/phone etiquette and basic computer skills. Mission Statement
The mission of Neurological Vocational Services (formerly Neurological Rehabilitation Services) is to support individuals with neurological disabilities (traumatic brain injury, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, etc.) as they enter or re-enter the job market and become independent.
Description
NVS supports the Department of Neurology Vocational Services Unit at Harborview Hospital. Together, we provide counseling, job placement services and skills development for individuals with neurological disabilities. Education, technical assistance and pre-screening services are offered to area employers seeking job applicants.
