The 10th annual Suburban Nursery School Truck Touch is coming up on Saturday October 14, 2017! This is a community wide event where kids (and adults) have the opportunity to see, touch, interact with and learn about dozens of cool vehicles. The event was rated Best Children's Event by Best of Bethesda in 2016 with over 4000 attendees! It's a really fun day for children and families.
We need volunteers to help with setting-up, decorating, game booths, art tables, face painting, bounce houses and clean-up etc. Students looking for MCPS - SSL (Student Service Learning) this is a great opportunity to get some hours!
We need help from 9:00 AM - 3 PM, or any portion of that time, preferably a 3 hour block, like 9-noon or noon-3.

At Suburban Nursery School we help children develop social, physical, cognitive and emotional skills as well as encourage their creative expression. These skills makes sure our children get off on the right foot as they enter the more structured and academically oriented environment of elementary school.
Description
Parental participation is the foundation of our co-operative nursery school. At Suburban, parents, teachers and children learn and play together. Parents are an integral part of Suburban. Parents, through their roles as aides in the classroom and volunteers on the Board and various committees, provide a stable, nurturing, supportive school environment.
