Our Adult GED Program provides free individualized assistance to adults in preparation for the High School Equivalency/GED exam. We are looking for volunteers to assist the students in Math and Language Arts, there may be some Science and Social Studies at times. We focus heavily on math, because that seems to be the most challenging subject for most students.

We are looking for tutors on MONDAYS from 9am-noon and THURSDAYS from 1:30pm-3:30pm at our tutoring session which are located at NSO.

You can tutor the whole time of come for part of it, for example you could help 10:00am-noon.

We also need tutors on MONDAY afternoons from 1:00pm - 3:30pm at 7310 Woodward.
There may be other volunteer opportunities available.

I am happy to explain more about it and answer any questions you may have.
