On October 2-6, WBUR will be holding it's Fall Pledge Drive, we'll be encouraging our listeners to stand with the facts and support WBUR. Our volunteer shifts run about 2-3 hours, from 6:30am to 7:00pm throughout the week.
Volunteering with WBUR is fun, and we love hosting groups and individuals. Volunteers answer the phone when listeners call in to donate money to WBUR and enter the donor's information into a donation form on a computer. Along with the sense of pride you’ll get from supporting your local NPR news station, volunteer groups are entitled to numerous benefits:
- delicious food provided by some of Boston’s best restaurants
- behind-the-scenes tours of our station
- the opportunity to have your group or business thanked on air during our fundraiser, as well as online on our Volunteer Groups and Businesses webpage
You can learn more about specific volunteer shifts available by visiting our volunteer page (wbur.org/volunteer), emailing us a email@example.com, or calling our Membership department at 800-909-9287. We’ll be happy to answer any questions or provide you with additional information.
