PLACEMENT PURPOSE
Assist the Red Cross in delivering its mission by alleviating human suffering caused by disasters.

OPEN TIME DAYS

  • Choose your availability on an availability and rotation schedule.
  • Members are expected to be on call, day or night, during their selected shifts.

REQUIRED TRAINING
  • Region/Chapter Volunteer Orientation
  • Disaster Services: An Overview (modules one and two)
  • Client Casework: Providing Emergency Assistance
  • Shelter Operations and Shelter Simulation
  • Psychological First Aid
  • Disaster Assessment Basics
  • DAT Orientation
