Help Me Grow volunteers-
- Prepare materials for families and providers
- Score questionnaires and enter data into an online tracking system
- Follow up with families who have not completed the developmental questionnaires
- Send questionnaire results to families, physicians, and child care providers
- Participate in health fairs, community events, and networking cafes
- Conduct research to find events, stories, articles, resources, and other content that is relevant to Alameda County families
- Assist in program evaluation tasks such as conducting focus groups, collecting survey data, analyzing data, and drafting conclusions
- Translate documents

Help Me Grow Alameda County is a system that collaborates with agencies, families and providers across the county to help ensure children ages birth - 5 years reach their optimal development. To achieve this, we: Provide FREE and confidential support in early childhood development - Promote early identification of developmental concerns - Help families access resources - Build the capacity of early childhood providers - Partner with families, agencies and providers to build a strong network of services

What is Help Me Grow?
Help Me Grow Alameda County is a county-wide system to support early childhood development, learning and social-emotional health. Our priority is to ensure that all children ages birth to five get the best start in life.
Help Me Grow offers various programs and supports to assist families in learning more about their child’s growth and development, including: a confidential and free phone line and a developmental screening program that helps parents track their child’s development utilizing a developmental screening tool called the Ages and Stages Questionnaire. Help Me Grow is currently looking for volunteers to support the administrative and programmatic needs of Help Me Grow, particularly the Developmental Screening Program.
