Do you have artistic talents that you would be willing to share with others? Merrick Adult Day Services is seeking a volunteer to come in a couple times a month for 60 minutes to work with a few of our adult clients with developmental disabilities. They have drawing talents - loves art and would like to explore other types of art including water color, acrylics or some other type of art form.
Weekdays sometime between 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
An orientation to Merrick Adult Day Services is provided.
Merrick Inc. provides comprehensive day services for developmentally disabled adults in a clean and welcoming environment.

Description
A human services organization that began in 1964 and now supports over 375 clients, employs over 100 staff, and coordinates services throughout the Twin Cities metropolitan area from our wonderful energy-efficient building in Vadnais Heights, Minnesota. In the summer of 2012 we opened a program site for Adult Day Services (ADS) and Memory Care Services (MCS) in downtown North St. Paul.
We are dedicated to empowering adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) through pre-vocational and life enrichment opportunities, and guiding them toward realizing their goals and dreams. Through person-centered planning and a discovery process, including selfadvocacy, the clients at Merrick are finding their place in the world:
- working in desired jobs;
- engaging in their communities;
- building relationships;
- enhancing personal skills, and
- leading more self-determined lives.
