Have a large group and are looking to volunteer? The San Diego Park and Recreation Department can accomodate your group! The San Diego Park and Recreation Department is responsible for overseeing nearly 40,000 acres of developed and undeveloped open space, more than 340 parks including Balboa Park, Mission Trails Regional Park, and Mission Bay Park; 25 miles of shoreline from Sunset Cliffs to La Jolla; 13 pools; 3 public golf complexes; 56 recreation centers and more. With that being said, the San Diego Park and Recreation Department is a great place for you to find a volunteer project for your group!
