PLACEMENT PURPOSE
Represent the Red Cross by responding to the immediate needs of people in your community affected by disasters
OPEN TIME DAYS
- Typically, Disaster Action Team members \"take duty\" for a defined period of time. During that time, the member will be \"oncall\" with other team members.
- Team members must be available to respond to a call during the shift. This includes responding to a call during the middle of the night and calls last 1 to 4 hours typically. Larger incidents may require more time.
