Special Project and Event Volunteers offer their own unique talents, expertise, and gifts to our hospice patients and families without committing to patient and family contact. No act of kindness is too big or too small. For example:
Threads of Grace Volunteers make lap blankets, prayer shawls, stuffed animals or other items for the comfort of the patient.
Youth and children's groups make crafts or provide act of service in the community such as mowing a yard, cleaning a flower bed or raking leaves.
Clowning or singing groups brighten a patient's day.
Help with a Memorial Service to support bereaved families.
Assist with Health Fairs or other community outreach events.
