Volunteer(s) would maintain flower beds and other plantings at the South Delta Trailhead of the Wabash Cannonball Trail, requiring weeding, thinning, and possible transplantation. The garden includes plants and grasses native to the Oak Openings Region. Sign up as an individual or group. Should be able to work independently.

Mission Statement
Northwestern Ohio Rails-to-Trails Association, Inc. (NORTA) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3)volunteer organization whose mission is to promote and steward the development and maintenance of the Wabash Cannonball Trail for public recreational use. NORTA is working to preserve the Wabash Cannonball Trail in its natural state, thereby promoting bio-diversity and local wildlife populations, while at the same time providing a safe path for hiking, biking, and non-motorized recreational use.

We are an all volunteer organization that works on our rail-trail in the role of developing and maintaining the trail for non-motorized recreational use, as well as preservation of native species and historic aspects of the trail
