Join our fun team of volunteers!

Coastal Cleanup Day (CCD) is an annual beach and waterway clean-up held on the third Saturday of September.

It is California's largest volunteer event and brings community awareness to cleaning up and protecting our marine environment. You can pick up litter from any location of your choice including the places that makes you happy. We invite you to cleanup for Coastal Cleanup Month any days of September.

Description

Primary programs include:

  • Weekly cleanups, rotating through the beautiful beaches in Pacifica, Montara and Half Moon Bay on San Mateo County's coast.
  • Monthly habitat restoration.
  • Earth Day Actions & Celebration.
  • Adopt-a-Beach Program coordination.
  • Education and outreach regarding the watershed, beaches and ocean.

Something for everyone to participate in. All ages and interests.
