Project: VISION ( www.projectvisionchicago.org) is a small grassroots nonprofit organization serving youth ages 12-18, who are primarily from lower-income, first generation immigrant families, in Chicago's Chinatown, Bridgeport, and surrounding communities. We serve 200 students each school year through tutoring, mentoring, college and career readiness, service learning, and leadership training programs.
The Associate Board supports the work of the organization as well as the Board of Directors. We are seeking young professionals (1-10 years of professional experience) who are enthusiastic about youth development and want to help our small organization grow to be able to serve even more students. The goal of the Associate Board will be to promote the mission of Project: VISION through community outreach, networking, fundraising, and special volunteer projects.
If you are interested in learning more about our group, please send us a short introduction of yourself, why you are interested in the Associate Board, and a recent resume or CV.
