Looking to make an impact in the lives of children in the Denver metro area through the power of music? Inside the Orchestra (ISO) is actively seeking interested and qualified individuals to join our Board of Directors. Individuals with fundraising and grant writing experience, as well as individuals with school board and or school staff experience, are highly sought. Board members fundraise, advise, govern, oversee policy and direction, assist with leadership and general promotion of Inside the Orchestra so as to support the organization’s mission and needs. Board members have a direct and significant impact in ISO being able to provide children interactive exposure to a professional orchestra.

Mission Statement
Our mission is to bring orchestra music to young children in the greater Denver metropolitan community, cultivating music appreciation and enhancing their education through an engaging first-hand experience with the orchestra.
Description
Inside the Orchestra performs for children across Denver Metro. Our unique format where the audience sits on the floor surrounded by professional musicians puts the children literally "inside the orchestra". This immersive, educational experience is something entirely one-of-a-kind. The concert is led by a teaching artist who guides the children through the music encouraging them to engage in imagination-based activity. Audience members are given an up close demo of each section of the orchestra; strings, woodwinds, horns and percussion. Each concert also features additional activities such as an instrument petting zoo (where children can get hands on with real instruments) and a music-themed craft for all to enjoy.
Our shows have a suggested ticket price of $12 per person over 12 months, and financial assistance is always available. We currently perform in Boulder, Denver, Jefferson, Arapahoe, Adams and Douglas Counties.
