Can you donate at least an hour of your time two days a week to help a struggling child learn to read? Then this is the opportunity for you! YMCA READS! is a free program that gives struggling K-3rd graders a chance to improve their reading skills and build their self-esteem. You, along with a team of other mentors, will help children develop better phonics, sight word recognition, spelling, reading fluency, and comprehension skills. This program could not assist these struggling readers without the generous time our mentors provide, so contact me today to start making a difference in a child's life!
