We are needing friendly caller volunteers to make weekly phone calls to aging or disabled homebound adults to start their day with a cheerful greeting. The Shepherd's Center of Kernersville is an interfaith ministry of volunteers who champion and sustain older or disabled adults.

We offer services and enrichment for older and/or disabled adults living in or closeby Kernersville, NC - Offering: Transportation (medical), Friendly Calls, In-Home Visitation, Personal Shopper (grocery/pharmacy errands), Handypersons (minor repairs), Equipment Loan, Pastoral Counseling (not licensed), Medicare/SHIIP Counseling, Legal Aide Counseling, Full-time Senior Enrichment Center, Caregiver Support Group, Computer Learning Center (computer and electronic device assistance), Income Tax Prep Program (Feb-Apr annually), Information and Referrals, and Advocacy Programs.
