Black Infant Health Program's mission is to reduce the mortality rate amongst black infants in Sacramento County. The program hosts different weekly workshops for mothers to attend. We need volunteer drivers to transport mothers and children to and from the workshops in Sacramento on Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 12:30p.m., Wednesdays from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., and Thursdays from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The workshop locations are at Arden/Watt, Marconi/Fulton, and Broadway/3rd Avenue. Volunteer driver will use county van to pick up children and mothers from their homes to and from workshop. The appointments will be scheduled ahead making it convenient for volunteer to plan the trip. Volunteers may choose particular area and day to volunteer.
