Outre' Theatre Company believes that theatre is a living art form with the power to reimagine and reexamine ourselves and the world around us. We envision a theatre that nurtures the creative spirit of individuals and our community through original and established works, utilizing a variety of mediums to engage the souls and imaginations of the artists and the audience. We envision a theatre which stimulates thought, provokes reflection, and encourages activism.
Description
Outre' Theatre Company presents works of theatre, both full staged and concert, at the Pompano Beach Cultural Center in Pompano Beach, Florida. We are in our seventh year, and have already become critically acclaimed and award-winning (Silver Palm Award, Best New Theatre in South Florida). We also offer opportunities for local students to involve themselves with a professional theatre company, learning more about the business of artistic creation.
