Description : The Community Service Leader will help lead Reality Changers’ community service events. These activities are designed to expose students to service activities and give them opportunities to make a meaningful impact in the community they live in.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise students at least two (3 or 4 preferred) weekend community service events per month.

• Many of these events are scheduled but intern is encouraged to seek new and exciting projects for Reality Changers students to participate in

• Prior to each project, call and remind students about the upcoming project and any additional notes (i.e. dress code)

• Arrive 30 minutes prior to announced time to greet & welcome the students when they arrive at the Reality Changers Building

• Drive students to/from event

• Ensure that each student is actively participating and having a positive volunteer experience

• Communicate with project leaders about any concerns or ideas

• Research additional projects students can participate in on an individual basis.

Maintain Community Service Records

• Maintain check in and check out lists for each community service event

• Update community service records for students by adding in their hours on the Master Spreadsheet

**Volunteer is responsible for maintaining a sign in sheet in the "Volunteer Intern Log" so Reality Changers can accurately keep track of service hours rendered.
