Experienced Nurses needed for volunteer-run free primary care clinic providing care to uninsured workers since 2005. Computer and people skills needed. We are here early evenings on weekdays or Saturday mornings, 4 - 6 times per month. Perfect for retired nurses wanting to use their skills and experience. Less than 5 hours per week. This special person will review medical records, obtain test results, counsel patients, train new medical assistants, contact physicians as needed, and enter medical information into the electronic record. You will be supported by excellent medical assistants and administrative staff in a relaxed, friendly environment. If you enjoy being a nurse and helping others who appreciate it, contact us!

Our mission is to provide free primary healthcare through volunteerism to working adults who otherwise would not be able to afford access to quality health care. We want to keep our communities healthy and our citizens on the job and out of the ER.
Description
The Clinic utilizes volunteer medical and professional staff to provide primary health care services, information and referrals for adults 18 years of age and older who are medically uninsured. We provide an office visit, appropriate diagnostic testing, annual physicals, access to medication in order to help the underserved and underinsured community.
