Taste of the World This Is My Rhythm

Volunteers that can commit one or more hours on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday to lead and activity or a workshop for one day, week or a month would be idea for this program opportunity. All Ethnic Cultures whether an individual, choir, band, drumline, bucket drummers, dance group, steppers, praise dancers, mime artists, ballroom dancers, available on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and or Saturday between 4:30pm and 7:30pm to rehearse and perform between 12 noon and 5:30pm September 23rd and 24th on several Saturday and or Sunday at the beautiful Prechter Theater 21000 Northline Taylor, Michigan

CAD's Arts, Athletics, Business Summer and Afterschool program is at Ernest T. Ford Field House Recreation Center at 10 Pitkin between Hamilton Avenue and Third in Highland Park, MI 48203 . Our next upcoming stage production is 'This Is My Rhythm" , a Taste of the World featuring food from all seven continents and TV Production and commercial Live Better Live Longer featuring cultures from every continent showcasing their fashions, music, dancers, singers and acrobats. You can volunteer to perform and or assist the talent and the staff.

Thank you for inquiring regarding volunteering. Presently, CAD is looking for volunteers for any days to (1) coach a game(s) and sport (s)class and tournament, (2)demonstrate food recipes from around the globe, (3) teach art and crafts,(4) teach costuming and fashion designing,(5)teach dance and fitness routines (6) teach classes and perform material to be aired on TV (more than 2,000,000 viewers) and also for a play, multi-cultural stage musical and film, (7) provide tutoring and (8) bereavement support to those who've lost loved ones. Please let us know how many hours you can volunteer each day and the time slots and the month you can begin. We are raising money to house homeless aged out foster care youth, disabled in need of prosthetics and seniors in need of help and to provide prosthetics, wheelchairs and free wigs and grooming services to children and adult survivors of fires, cancer, alopecia, lupus and accidents.

Volunteers will receive assistance with applying for artist grants and get photographs and videos of their work and performances if they request it. There will be opportunities to earn stipends and commission. Thank you! Some material can be supplied and you are also welcome to bring your own also. Description

CAD, Inc. creates, writes, directs, produces, promotes, cast talent and offers trainings, jobs, grants and conferences for film, television, radio, music, fashion, animation, theater, costuming and arts. CAD offers career study trips, artist residences, work study and life skills program for aged out foster care youth and those with disabilities. CAD provides donations of personal and business products, supplies and equipment for children and adults members of CAD, monthly. trainings in grant writing, dance, performance, production, visual art, the business of the entertainment field, script writing, life skills, film, theater, photo journalism, sax, piano, vocals, band, computer basics, computer IT, event sponsorship, community and home beautification, morale boost for businesses, and more.

CAD holds monthly workshop luncheons, year round productions, trainings, conferences, festivals, career study trips, internships, touring photojournalism classes, mentoring, an entreprenuership program and entertainment.

CAD beautifies yards, homes and businesses with art, landscaping and gardening. CAD's offers mobile training and hiring programs at various locations upon request throughout Wayne, Oakland and Washtenaw Counties.
