The Alzheimer’s Association is in need of volunteers for the upcoming Walk to End Alzheimer’s on Sunday, September 23rd, 2018

Location:

Stinson Park - Aksarben Village

2285 S 67th Street

Omaha, NE 68105

Time:

Registration begins at 9:00am

Walk starts at 11:00am

Dress code: Casual (jeans, t-shirt, sneakers)

There are different shifts and duties available. You can sign up for more than one shift.

Number of Volunteers Needed, Duty, & Shift

Event set-up (20)

Misc. park set up roles as assigned

Registration tent (25)

Assist with donation collection and participant registration

8:30am - 1:00pm

Promise Garden "green thumbs" (2)

**Kid Friendly** Distribute Forget Me Nots to event participants

Champions Club tent (3)

**Kid Friendly** Distribute gifts and recognition items to top event fundraisers

Kidszone (5)

**Kid Friendly** Assist with kids activities

Advocacy (15)

Assist in the promotion of advocacy materials and messaging

Programs/Services (3)

Assist in the promotion of programs and services information

T-shirt volunteers (7)

Work in conjunction w/ registration to distribute shirts to particpants that have met fundraising minimum

Walk monitors & cheer squad (20)

**Kid Friendly** Misc. route assignments to cheer on and assist participants

Thank You Brigade (10)

Thank participants for coming out to the walk- including thanking participants when leaving

Tear down (20)

Misc. site breakdown roles as assigned
