About

The American Heart Association needs the time and talent of volunteers to help us create a healthier world, free of heart disease and stroke. Whatever your capabilities and interests are, we can find a volunteer opportunity that's right for you. Volunteer once a week, once a month or once in a while! Tasks include attending health fairs, supporting events (Heart Walk, Go Red, and Heart Ball), speaking events, joining a committee, health education and promotion, and lots of other opportunities. Volunteering at the AHA/ASA is a great way to help out in your community and learn more about our mission to build healthier lives, free of cardiovascular disease and stroke. The American Heart Association is the nation’s oldest and largest voluntary organization dedicated to fighting heart disease and stroke. In the past year we have continued funding ground breaking cardiovascular research--$4.3 million in Washington. We are proud to bring health education and improve lives of all Americans.
