All volunteers must be at least 18 years of age.* Volunteers must also go through a volunteer clearance process which includes Live Scan (fingerprints) two TB tests, flu shot, medical clearance and attendance at a New Volunteer Orientation (1.5 hours long).

Volunteers accompany residents to local stores, and other outings off grounds. Must be able to push occupied wheelchair. Friendly, patient, helpful people personality a plus.

Assist in fun activities such as Bingo, Poker, Live Entertainment, trivia, art and crafts, history and reminiscence discussions. Help senior veterans by reading to them or writing letters for them.

Share your special talents by performing (singing, playing musical instrument, dancing, magic acts, help with raised gardens, etc.) with Veteran Residents. Note: *Small or Large Groups are welcome to come and entertain our residents. If this is a one time occasion, these volunteers do not need to go through the above Volunteer Clearance process. On these occasional visits, volunteers under age of 18 can visit if accompanied by a responsible adult. Please call to schedule.
