ORGANIZATION: CuriOdyssey

Volunteer Engaging Children
Visitors love being introduced to our education animals up close and personal.

Wildlife Docents engage young children in observing and learning about native wildlife and the natural world.

Required commitment: One shift per week preferred: 10am-12pm, on Wednesdays, Thursdays, or Fridays.

Next training series to be held on three Saturdays in February and March, 2022. Inquire for specific dates.

Complete the online CuriOdyssey Volunteer Application in the Get Involved: Volunteer section at www(dot)CuriOdyssey(dot)org. Position open until all training spots filled. Opportunity to shadow current volunteer can be arranged.

Located in Coyote Point Park in San Mateo, California, CuriOdyssey is a serious science playground where visitors observe wild animals and experiment with real scientific phenomena. Each year, more than 100,000 kids enjoy our in-house designed and fabricated science exhibits, native animal zoo, wildlife programming, and science classes and camps. Our mission is to inspire a love of science and curiosity about the world to create a better future.
