We mobilize volunteers to care for and study lands and water in New Hampshire and neighboring regions.

Description

Nature Groupie, based at UNH Cooperative Extension, aims to connect, equip and mobilize people and organizations to care for and study lands and waters in their communities. A web portal brings together environmental stewardship and citizen science volunteer projects hosted by over 200 organizations in an effort to make volunteering on behalf of the environmental easier for all - citizens, classrooms, churches, businesses, college students, and more. Nature Groupie also provides expertise on adult volunteer training, citizen science protocol development, and connects over 3,000 environmental volunteers and partners through a weekly e-newsletter.
