Description

We are a domestic 501 C3 non-profit, interfaith organization aiming to address an array of social ills negatively affecting our society. Huma-Faith seeks to challenge: homelessness, substance abuse, prisoner’s reentry, women issues (e.g. abuses, teen pregnancy, etc.), Refugee services, at-risk youth, youth enrichment, veteran issues, and transitioning mental health clients. Presently, we are providing housing (assistance with food & clothing included), counseling and support services (e.g. substance abuse, family, spiritual, etc.), for those recovering from addiction, slight mental handicaps, those transitioning due to poverty, homelessness, or who have recently been released from prison or jail with nowhere to go, and either displaced or abused women and their children. We provide or seek provisions for education (i.e. GED, College Preparation, and Vocational Skills), and ethics/personal skill development.

We are an approved (City of Dallas Inspected) Group/Recovery Home. We provide two Faith-Based 12-Step and Cognitive Intervention programs (e.g. "Overcomers"--sponsored and facilitated by First Baptist Church of Dallas), Bible Studies, Religious Studies, and Counseling services. Our personnel comprise of: Counselor Interns (CI’s), Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselors (LCDC’s), Licensed Professional Counselor Intern (LPCI), and Clergyman of various faiths
