We provide household furnishings to our Military Veterans and their family for FREE. We also provide them with a rescued animal for Free.
Our warehouse is located at 1825 E. Via Burton, Anaheim, CA 92806.
We have several positions available for many different types of volunteers at our warehouse.
We need volunteers at the warehouse when the pickup arrive they can sort the items to the designated areas and display all furnishing so that when the Veteran come and "Shop" all of the furnishings will be ready accessible.
We are in need of volunteers to answer the phone and do lite office work which would include scheduling of times for the volunteers, for pickups and for when the Veteran can come and pick up the items they need.
We need volunteers to help set up events and on event days.
Last year we helped 1062 Veterans. This year we have helped over 600 Veterans/Active Duty/Reservists and are projected to help over 1200 by the end of the year.
No additional volunteer opportunities at this time.
About Patriots and Paws
1825 E. Via Burton (warehouse address), Anaheim, CA 92806, US
Our Mission Statement We provide Veterans/Active military and their families with home furnishings, and unite them with a rescued animal. We will help veterans and their families with furniture and small necessities needed. We will provide veterans and their families with information and resources they can use to become successful in returning home and re-start their lives back in the civilian world. The animals will help provide therapy (the animals will not be service animals as other organizations provide these services) for the veterans and their families against post-traumatic stress
At Patriots and Paws our passion is to help those who have served their country and now are in need of help.
We provide our veterans with home furnishings through the donations of others. It can be something as simple as a couch, night stand, dining room table or even silverware.
We all have things that we no longer need and it could be something that makes a huge difference to a veteran, something to make them have a home.
