ORGANIZATION: Tumbleweed Center for Youth Development

We are in need of someone willing to provide friendly service to our staff, clients, and community partners who are visiting the office to meet with our adminisrative team. This will be a great opportunity to get to know members of the orginization, support their community efforts, and serve as an ambassador for the agency.

Activities would include: greeting visitors and alerting staff upon arrival, answering and routing calls, and other duties as assigned.

Description

Tumbleweed Center for Youth Development is a private, nonprofit agency founded in 1972 by Soroptimist International of Phoenix to provide emergency shelter and services for runaway and homeless youth. The mission of Tumbleweed Center for Youth Development is to provide a safe space for collaborating with youth and young adults in our community who are vulnerable or experiencing homelessness. These safe spaces will allow access to caring relationships, resources, and programs that offer opportunities for young people to develop their individual potential

Population served: Homeless, abused, abandoned, neglected and at-risk youth ages 12-25 residing in Maricopa County.
