Your Pet Therapy dog or cat will provide much needed emotional, relief and social support to patients living in assisted living facilities or nursing homes. The animal should be accepting of friendly strangers and be able to sit calmly to be pet. It should be equally friendly towards other animals and show no aggression. The animal should be confident and consistently obey commands. We do not offer training or certification for pets.
We will greatly appreaciate the addition of a Pet Therapy dog or cat to our hospice team of care. Please contact Katerine at (305)591-8061.
