RSVP Reading Tutors needed for the 2016 School Year.

Please Note: Volunteers must be age 50+

Are you interested in helping kids become better readers and lifelong learners? If you have two hours to share just twice a week, consider becoming a reading tutor! Contact us to join one of our upcoming information sessions. Learn more and network with other like-minded individuals looking to make a difference for kids.

Why is this important? Children who do not read at grade level by third grade are four times more likely to drop out of High School. One committed adult can change the course of a young life by helping them gain the reading skills needed to learn and succeed in life.

Experience Matters, in partnership with Experience Corps Phoenix, is looking for volunteers to become reading tutors for kids in first through third grade. Volunteers receive training and materials and do not need any prior teaching or tutoring experience.
