Designer Hospital Gowns

Volunteer from home using your sewing skills to make hospital gowns for hospice patients. For those nearing the end of life, it can be difficult to get dressed, but people still want to feel fresh and look their best. Attractive hospital-style gowns are comfortable for patients and give greater ease to the loved ones caring for them. Comfy, fun and stylish fabrics bring cheer to patients and help them look and feel their best each day. Pattern is provided or use your own. Our hospice has some funding available for to provide material to selected volunteers with prior approval from volunteer services coordinator.

University Hospitals (UH) Hospice is committed to providing quality, compassionate care to persons faced with a life-limiting condition and their loved ones. Care is provided wherever the patient calls home, their residence, assisted living or in a skilled nursing facility. Volunteers are an essential part of our hospice team, offering calm, friendly support to patients and families, and administrative support to our paid hospice staff.
